In 2006, I tried to start a container garden, and everything fried when I thought they were strong enough to be moved to the patio. So in 2007, they all got to stay inside. But I still didn't have much success. In 2008, I had a real garden in a real yard, plus containers all over the place, including in the house. If I don't get some fresh veggies I've grown myself now, then something's wrong!

2011 Update: Still trying my thumb at greening up the garden. Some things work; some things don't. Grasshoppers, bunnies and raccoons, plus a good helping of clay instead of soil, make my garden an annual adventure.

2012 Update: Scorching heat, devastating drought and hungry mealies. Grrr.

2013 Update: Initially spring seemed to be coming early. But then it went back to sleep and let winter run amok.
