While riding my bike to the reservoir and back one weekend in February, I thought of an idea for my plethora of sunrise and sunset shots. So now I'm quilting with photos, but not on fabric. Yet...

Snowcatcher > I celebrated the one-year anniversary of my D300 by not touching it over the weekend.  But not by choice!

However, I also marked the momentous anniversary by completing an electronic quilt comprised of sunrise and sunset photos taken by my awesome camera during the last year.  And this is meaningful because I've just recently decided I don't have enough time to finish a real quilt for this year's Denver National Quilt Festival.  So now I've finished a 2009 quilt; I just can't enter it in the quilt show.  Unfortunately!  Maybe next year...
