Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site

Brothers Charles and William Bent jointly with Ceran St. Vrain built a fort to trade with Southern Cheyenne and Arapaho Plains Indians and trappers. The structure burned in 1949 and was restored in 1976. What a magnificent step back into the past!
